Police are comparing surveillance videos to try to determine whether the robberies are connected. Boulder police reported earlier this week that they suspect all three of the robberies in that city are linked. Satur said it is possible the Longmont robbery is also connected.
"We've been following up on those," he said. "We've had at least four different people named and we've tracked two of the people down and confirmed they weren't involved,"
"I think there is information that leads us to believe he is responsible, or at least related, to one of the (Boulder) robberies," Satur said.
Later that night in Boulder, a robber walked into a Boulder Circle K at 3185 28th Street at 10:45 and approached the counter asking for cigarettes. He then handed the clerk a note claiming that he was armed and demanding all of the cash in the register. The clerk did not see a weapon.
